At 10:00 a.m. on March 13, Aulin College of Northeast Forestry University and AEMG conducted a training video conference on the use of Cloud Campus platform for online teaching of co-teachers through zoom software. Cloud Campus is a cloud platform designed by AEMG with the latest information technology, which integrates online and offline teaching of teachers, multi screen learning of students, supervision and patrol of management end, data mining and other teaching management. It can realize real-time, interactive learning and autonomous online learning. Teachers and students can conduct online and offline deep-seated interaction and training, which is really practical Now the virtual classroom and the real classroom seamless connection.
The participants of the training meeting are five Chinese foreign teachers from Aulin College of Northeast Forestry University in the spring semester of 2019-2020 academic year. They will cooperate with teachers from Aston University and The University of Auckland to complete the teaching task of all English professional courses.
The main content of this training includes how to carry out online course construction and how to carry out the course live broadcast. With the help of cloud campus, online teaching, course content display, homework correction, online in class test of various types of questions, after-school counseling, Q & A questionnaire survey and so on can be realized. In the course of live broadcast, teachers can choose to upload courseware for students to download and use, or share the screen to guide students flexibly. In addition, teachers can use chat, question, interactive application and hand up connection module to interact with students and feedback questions. The use of the platform to a large extent to improve students' learning freedom, enhance the timely communication between students and teachers and the efficiency of teachers' office.
After training, the teachers have a comprehensive understanding of the operation and use of the new platform, and are confident to successfully complete the Sino foreign cooperative teaching task this semester. Cloud Campus, a stable, high-quality and effective cloud based teaching platform, is being used for academic English courses and some professional courses of Aulin College.
